So, I hear you want to be the next Rockstar cowboy? Good news is you stumbled on this article somehow. Whether, you are a lone wolf or you ride with your posse. These tips and tricks will help you on your journey to rocking Rockstar’s World. I am a huge Trophy hunter. I have well over 5000 trophies on PSN. Yes, self-boasting was needed. I’ve spent thousands of hours in the digital realm. Exploring countless worlds in search of something real. I mean sometimes the things we experience in the digital worlds are more real than life itself. The friends we meet are just as amazing as some of these worlds. I love hanging out in a moonshine shack getting drunk and slapping each other silly. It is more fun than you’d imagine hitting your best friends as hard as you can. Sometimes you fall on your butt.

So tip number one while you are engaged in Online shenanigans I recommend turning off auto-aim. This will give you an xp boost of 4x per kill. Giving you 20xp instead of the 5xp-10xp you’d regularly get from downing enemies or animals. This will help you boost up your rank quite quickly. It took me a while to even realize that this was an option.

Press the pause button, go to settings, then controls. Under controls, there is a Targeting and Weapons section. In that section, you’ll want to adjust Lock-On Mode [On-Foot] to Free Aim. You’ll also want to change Lock-On Mode [Mount/Vehicle] to Free Aim. That will help you gain xp faster. I ranked up like 10 levels the first week I switched these settings. If you want to be more like a pro-gamer you’ll want to adjust the sensitivity settings all the way up for [Look Sensitivity] and [Aim Sensitivity] while you are on this menu. It might take getting used to when you switch sensitivity but after two weeks your brain will adapt to the new speed and you’ll shoot more like a pro. The [Look Acceleration] can be adjusted a little higher as well but I would test that one out in small steps. You can over adjust this setting too easily and you’ll never shoot anything.

Another way of getting tons of xp fast is the collector role. You’ll either want to purchase some gold bars from the Rockstar store or earn gold bars doing daily challenges. I think it costs about 25 gold bars per role in Red Dead. The collector role is the fastest way to level up in the game. You get 150xp per item…
