Talking to an Undercover Agent
He introduced himself by yelling “fuck cops!” as a cop car rolled by.
I recognized him from a show I’ve seen before about hackers. I think it was Cyberwar. I was walking to get ramen in my local city. He followed me and started talking to me. He used a surfboard to project the sound better into his recording equipment. He wore red and black mostly. I don’t remember the name he used. It could have been anything really. I was riding my long board downtown. I welcomed the conversation since nobody really talks to you during this pandemic situation… After all the black lives matter protests and being hacked by the police during a protest I attended. I didn’t really question it at the time. The old undercover cop had a beard twisted and braided. He was white and seemed to be about 60 or 70 years old.
He talked about how he had a job in the NSA or some government agency. Then said he looked up his own government profile. Like the ones in West World that the robot lady releases to everyone in the world. It has behavioral models, predictive analytics about how you would react to a situation, and very personal information you wouldn’t share with your best friend. The way most of this data is obtained is social media scrapping and “metadata” because they consider metadata to be public. I am totally against this by the way. We as individuals should own our data.
What ever we are be it digital entities or biological ones. With all this data they make copies of you and run simulations on supercomputers and quantum…
